The first incoming class of Agricultural Technology students was welcomed to Blacksburg in the fall of 1987. Since then, thousands of students, alumni, faculty, staff, and industry partners have helped shape the program into what it is today. As we approach this significant milestone, we're planning a year-long celebration to honor the people, partnerships, and achievements that have defined Ag Tech over the past four decades.

As we prepare for this special anniversary year, we invite alumni, students, industry partners, families, and friends to share their connection to Ag Tech. Every Ag Tech story matters, and your experience may be featured as part of our anniversary celebration.
